This month, we're happy to shine the spotlight on Tatyana Bychkova, our Accounting Manager. Tatyana brings invaluable expertise to our team with her comprehensive financial acumen and dedication to operational excellence–both at the office and at game night!

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your background.

Born and raised in a small town near Moscow, Russia, I graduated college with a degree in Economics before moving to the United States with my family. My career in accounting began during college as a bookkeeper helping my mom, and I've continued in the field since coming to the US. I've worked across a variety of organizations – from non-profits to public accounting to publicly traded companies. I thrive working in dynamic companies with great culture and interesting mission, that environment allows me to utilize my skills while gaining new experiences.

What inspired you to join SolaREIT?

SolaREIT fits all three criteria I was looking for – rapidly growing, focused on renewable energy, and composed of a wonderful team of driven professionals. I believe that renewable energy is our future with constantly increasing energy demand. SolaREIT plays an important role in helping to fulfill that demand by providing much needed financing solutions.

What has been your most rewarding experience at SolaREIT?

Implementation of the new ERP system has been my most significant achievement – it was a huge step to improve and streamline and simplify our accounting processes. It was also a tremendous learning opportunity for me, as I became familiar with several new tools, and there is still a lot more to learn.

How do you see the future of renewable energy, and SolaREIT's role in it?

I believe that renewable energy is our future, especially considering the constantly increasing energy demand. SolaREIT plays an important role in helping to fulfill that demand by providing much-needed financing to support the development of solar projects. Our work is crucial in making renewable energy more accessible and financially viable.

What has surprised you most about working at SolaREIT?

I was surprised by the level of teamwork, how well all of the people work together, like a well-oiled machine even as a relatively new company. I'm happy to be part of that team and hope to fit in well.

What do you enjoy doing outside the office?

I love hiking and skiing with my family, fostering dogs rescued from high-kill shelters for a local organization, and playing board games. I regularly host game nights for friends, combining my passion for strategic thinking with social connection.
